Sessions are held once per week and you will be scheduled for the same day and time each week. There is flexibility if you need to change your scheduled session, however you will have a standing weekly time slot. Bi-weekly appointments are for clients that have stepped down and no longer need weekly sessions. Bi-weekly spots are shared with another individual in alternating weeks.
Yes, I take insurance. The insurances I take are Aetna, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna/Evernorth, United Healthcare, Oxford, and Oscar Health.
The best way to know what your insurance covers is by calling the client services phone number on the back of your insurance card. The customer service reps at your insurance company can help to inform you if you have a deductible that needs to be met and if you have a copay. I partner with Headway to provide my billing services and although they provide an estimate prior to our first appointment, it is only an estimate.
Therapy is right for anyone that is looking to improve their mood and work on their overall well being. Whether you are starting therapy for the first time or restarting therapy, one of the most important things to consider is the rapport you have with your therapist. While I cannot guarantee therapy outcomes, I work with my clients in a collaborative effort to work towards their goals. I offer 15 minute free consultations to chat to see if we could be a good fit to work together. If you feel that we are not the best fit, I can help you to find another provider to suit your needs.
I offer in person sessions in my new office located in Cherry Hill, NJ. I also offer virtual appointments for clients located in the state of New Jersey at the time of session.
No, I am not licensed to prescribe medications. You would need to find a licensed psychiatrist to provide those services. I also do not conduct formal evaluations for ADHD, Autism, or other neuro-developmental disorders.
No, I cannot sign FMLA/Disability paperwork as I am not an approved provider according to the Department of Labor and Workforce Development in NJ.
